本展は、現代アーティスト・阿部文香によるインスタレーション作品を中心に構成される。彼女は、生物の水晶体をレンズとして用い、毛皮や西会津で採集した植物を素材に、独自の手法を用いて、写真をはじめとした視覚表現の実験を行っている。
この作品に呼応するかたちで、写真家・鈴木竜一朗と詩人・野宮有姫が参加。制作の過程や対話を通じて生まれた写真や詩を通じて、作品に新たな視点を重ねてゆく。

阿部文香 （あべ あやか） @abecodium
現代美術・建築家。ふとあらゆるの事象が繋がり感覚がひとつの体系として体内に完全な世界が立ち上がる様な刹那的瞬間のために、実験し、作品制作をする。自然科学・建築・身体からなる型や論。瞬間的体性感覚の分解と制御から建築の上演・インスタレーション、旅をする中で水晶体同士の対等な関係性として、あるいは自然環境のなかで様々な生物の水晶体からその生態系を知る手掛かりとして、写真・映像作品など。
鈴木竜一朗（すずき りゅういちろう） @suzukiryuichiro
写真家。静岡県御殿場市在住。近年はパフォーミングアーツにおける写真のふるまいに興味があり、2022年にはアーティストの清水美帆と共同制作した演劇作品『夢をみる前に』（城崎国際アートセンター）を上演。
2023年7月にはタイ北部ダーンサーイにて演劇作品『Whispering Blue』（ナッタモン・プレームサムラン、石神夏希による共同制作）に写真家のリュウ役で出演するなど、ジャンルを超えた活動をしている。
野宮有姫（のみや ゆうき） @ y.nomiya
詩人・演劇人・遊ぶ人。所属：青年団／一般社団法人図図倉庫 net 理事／ムスヒラ／絲人
土地と記憶の交差点に立ち、詩・演劇・現代美術・民俗的リサーチを横断する表現を手がける。
空き家や集落全体を舞台とする演劇、発酵や食をめぐるインスタレーションなど、生活に根ざした芸術のあり方を探求。
西会津国際芸術村にて『注文の多い料理店』など宮沢賢治作品をモチーフとした構成・演出も担当した。
現在は福島・小高の醸造蔵を拠点に、文化風土のメディアとしての酒のリサーチを行っている。
Exhibition “Yamanome”
This exhibition centers around installation works by contemporary artist Ayaka Abe.
Using the crystalline lenses of living beings as a metaphorical lens, she incorporates materials such as fur and plants collected in Nishiaizu. Through her unique methods, she engages in experimental visual expression—primarily photography and related media.
In response to Abe’s work, photographer Ryuichiro Suzuki and poet Yuhime Nomiya have joined the project. Through the dialogue and processes involved in creation, their photographs and poetry offer new perspectives layered onto the work.

Artist Profiles
Ayaka Abe @abecodium
Contemporary artist and architect. Her practice seeks to capture fleeting moments in which diverse phenomena and sensations converge into a fully formed world within the body.
Her work draws on frameworks and theories rooted in natural science, architecture, and the human body. She deconstructs and reconfigures sensory experiences through performative architecture, installations, and photographic or video-based works. These often explore reciprocal relationships between crystalline lenses—whether in the human eye or other living organisms—as a means of understanding ecological systems within natural environments.
Ryuichiro Suzuki @suzukiryuichiro
Photographer based in Gotemba, Shizuoka Prefecture.
In recent years, he has focused on the role of photography within performing arts. In 2022, he collaborated with artist Miho Shimizu on the stage production Before We Dream, presented at Kinosaki International Arts Center.
In July 2023, he performed the role of “Ryu, the Photographer” in the interdisciplinary theatre piece Whispering Blue, co-produced by Nattamon Premasarn and Natsuki Ishigami in Doi Saket, northern Thailand. Suzuki’s work spans across artistic genres.
Yuhime Nomiya @y.nomiya
Poet, theatre artist, and playful spirit.
Affiliations: Seinendan / Director of Zuzu Warehouse Net, a general incorporated association / Musuhira / Itohito.
Standing at the intersection of land and memory, she creates expressions that span poetry, theatre, contemporary art, and ethnographic research.
Her work includes site-specific performances in vacant houses and villages, as well as installations exploring fermentation and food culture—investigating forms of art rooted in everyday life.
At Nishiaizu International Art Village, she has also directed and structured works based on the writings of Kenji Miyazawa, including The Restaurant of Many Orders.
Currently based at a sake brewery in Odaka, Fukushima, she conducts research on sake as a medium of cultural and ecological expression.
