西会津国際芸術村は、旧新郷中学校の木造校舎を活用した
故くて新しい山の暮らしを創造するためのクリエイティブセンターです。
世界各国からのアーティストの滞在・リサーチ・制作・展示のほか、
様々なイベントやワークショップなどの開催、
公募展、町民アーティストの展示などを行っています。
Nishiaizu International Art Village is a creative center
housed in the former wooden school building of Shingō Junior High School,
dedicated to reimagining and creating new ways of living in the mountains.
In addition to artist residencies, research, production, and exhibitions by artists from around the world,
the center hosts a wide range of events and workshops,
as well as open-call exhibitions and shows featuring local community artists.
