（応募多数の場合、制作活動もしくは作品に地域との関連性が強いものが優先）

■応募資格

アーティスト、デザイナー、ミュージシャン、料理人、建築家、エンジニア等、クリエイティブな活動に関わる者であればそのジャンル及び アマチュア、プロフェッショナル、を問わない。

入村時の年齢が２０歳以上であること。休暇中であれば学生も可(身元保証者の同意が必要)。

Eligibility
All genres of artists such as visual artists, designers, musicians, cooks, architects, engineers, etc…are welcomed to apply for the program. Regardless professional, semi-professional, armature or student. Applicant must be age 20 or more and no crime and drug history. (Students are required to submit a letter of recommendation/reference from their school or professor. ) Applicant must be in good health condition and possess valid health insurance. Submit personal history (education, artwork, exhibition, etc) when apply. Selection will be made by NPO Nishiaizu International Artvillage and town authority.

Our program’s key words are “sustainable community“ “learning from traditional environmental culture“ “recreating environmental symbiosis lifestyle“ “revitalizing depopulated community” and “cultural exchange”. We wish that resident artists enjoy life of Nishiaizu and are inspired by rich nature, culture, custom and tradition of Nishiaizu, including food, festival, historical monuments and more.

■滞在期間 

1.長期滞在AIR

原則１ヶ月〜１年まで。更新は別途協議。

2.短期滞在AIR

最短１日から数週間（詳細は協議）。繰り返しの入村可。

3.ゲストクリエイター

・週末イベントやインスタレーション、コンサート企画等の公募

・毎年１０月に開催される公募展にあわせて、イベントやインスタレーションなどの公募

（準備およびイベント時の宿泊については別途協議）

Period

Long Term AIR　Maximum one year period.

Short Term AIR  Short stay and/or repeat stay is also available.

Guest Creator    a few days stay for events, art workshop, installation, concert, etc…

芸術村内の個室および共用施設（キッチン、トイレ、バス、工房等）使用料、
電話基本料金、インターネット使用料無料、作品展示スペース提供

Free facility

Private room, internet connection, electricity, water and gas are free for use.
workshop room, bath room, toilet, kitchen and dining room are common use.

Following expenses are NOT FREE, paid by ARTIST

Living expense (food, etc.) Materials for own artwork, Traveling expense, long distance call. Medicare cost.

Requirement

Artist has to sign and accept village rule before starting “project”. Artist is also requested to submit a deliverable and participate local events and local community revitalization activities.

■施設概要

展示室 exhibition rooms

最大で５つの教室を展示室として同時に使用できます。

アイデア次第では、廊下や階段室、キッチン等も展示室として活用できます。
Max.5 exhibition rooms are able to use for a exhibition/event concurrently.
Depending on the concept of a exhibition/event, the passage, the staircase, the kitchen is also capable to use.

地元ギャラリー local people’s gallery

地元民のクリエイティブな活動を紹介するギャラリーです。

The gallery for local people’s creative activity.

じぶんカフェ free lounge

平たく言えば無料休憩所です。お湯、図書（田舎暮らしや里山、建築やランドスケープ、芸術や音楽に関する図書）、運が良ければお茶菓子、校長室で使っていたソファ、インターネット（wifi）を使用できます。静かな集落にある木造校舎で、お好みのコーヒーやお茶を持参してゆったりとした時間を過ごしてみてください。

In the free lounge, you can chat and relax with comfy couches, books and wifi internet connection.

工房 workshop

中学校の実習に使用していた工作道具があり、作品づくりなどの工房として利用できます。

Carpenter’s tools and machines used for junior high school’s lesson are set in the workshop. .
